Welcome

Interior design can cost £000s, but it doesn’t have to be the case.

My philosophy is simple: beautiful homes can be created by reimagining what you already own. Most houses have untapped potential. Good design does not always require new things. Often, a home simply needs a fresh perspective, a refined eye and a thoughtful re-arrangement of what is already there.

I transform the flow, balance and atmosphere of your home using your existing furniture and treasures, ensuring each room feels harmonious, current and truly lived-in. Many homes benefit from a fresh pair of eyes every decade or so, particularly as lifestyles change and families move around.

While I specialise in transforming already-decorated rooms without major expenditure, I also provide guidance on paint, lighting, layout and decorating options should you choose to refresh or renovate later.

My projects range from quick 2-hour consultations to full refurbishments, such as the Notting Hill project showcased on this website.

The House Stylist grew from 20 years of decorating homes, flats, holiday houses and rental properties. I bring this experience into every visit.

Clients consistently describe our sessions as enjoyable, energising and unexpectedly transformative, often without spending a penny on anything new.

“My commitment is to give advice that is considered, honest, and always in your best interest.”

Which service will work for you?

Every home and every homeowner needs something slightly different. Some clients simply want ideas and feel ready to continue themselves, while others prefer more support or ongoing help as the project develops. My services are designed to flow naturally, so you can have as much or as little involvement as you like.

I had done the basics - bed, chairs, sofas - but I let Francesca loose to work her magic with the bits and bobs I had collected. Within a few hours, a house had become a home. Every room had character, looked welcoming and 'worked'. I shall always be amazed and grateful for that transformation.
